Hi, I’m Lisa Weatherman, the Manager at Carolina Prime Physical Therapy! Having worked in outpatient therapy for over 12 years, I truly love what I do. As a lifelong resident of Wilkes County, being part of a locally owned practice that serves our community means the world to me. Carolina Prime is more than just a workplace—it’s a team I’m incredibly proud to be part of, where our dedicated therapists and staff genuinely treat patients like family.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing the transformative power of therapy. I watch patients arrive frustrated, hurting, or uncertain about the future, only to see them grow stronger, regain their confidence, return to work or sports, and get back to the activities they love. Those moments of healing and progress are what make me proudest to be at Carolina Prime.

Behind the scenes, I keep things moving smoothly—solving problems, answering questions, and ensuring both our patients and team have everything they need. I thrive on the fast pace of our office, the strong friendships built within our team, and the daily laughter that comes with working alongside people I genuinely enjoy. No two days are ever the same, and that energy is what keeps me motivated!

Outside of work, my family keeps me on my toes. My husband, Matthew, and I have two wonderful children, Haley and Brady, plus our four-legged family member, Tucker the dog. We love cheering on Brady at his high school football games, wrestling matches, and track meets. Meanwhile, Haley is in college pursuing her goal of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)—I am so proud to watch her step into the therapy field! As a family, we love hiking, exploring the outdoors, and making memories together. And whenever I get the chance, you’ll find me at my happy place: the beach, searching for shark teeth!

I’m deeply thankful for my family, my Carolina Prime team, and the opportunity to serve a practice that makes a real difference in our community every day.
