Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapist Job in North Wilkesboro, NC
Carolina Prime Physical Therapy is hiring for a Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapist job in North Wilkesboro, NC, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and their families. You will help kids build strength, confidence, coordination, and independence as part of a locally owned and growing rehabilitation practice. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required, so whether you already treat children or want to grow into this area of care, we would like to hear from you.
Helping Kids Move, Play, and Grow
In this role you will evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, orthopedic, and neuromuscular conditions. Every child receives an individualized care plan built around their needs, and your sessions will rely on creative, functional, and engaging approaches that keep kids involved in their own progress. Our one-on-one treatment approach means you can give each child and caregiver your full attention.
Families are part of the work, too. You will educate and support parents and caregivers throughout the therapy process, and you will collaborate with staff and caregivers to reach the best possible outcomes for each child. Timely, accurate documentation supports that care and keeps the whole team on the same page.
Grow Pediatric Services With a Practice That Is Growing
Carolina Prime is expanding, and this position gives you the opportunity to help grow our pediatric services. Team members who are interested in leadership, program development, specialty care, mentorship, or management can take on greater responsibility as the practice grows. If you have an idea for a specialty program, we want to hear it, because some of the best opportunities come from giving talented people the support and freedom to develop their strengths.
We take patient care seriously, but we also believe work should be enjoyable. Our team values teamwork, growth, positivity, excellence, and relationships, and we want people who support one another, communicate well, and care about giving every patient an exceptional experience. Our goal is to keep the feel of a close-knit private practice while creating new opportunities for our employees, and a family-friendly, supportive team culture is part of how we do that.
Who Thrives at Carolina Prime
You may be a great fit if you care deeply about your patients and the quality of care you provide, enjoy being part of a collaborative team, and are motivated to keep learning and improving. A positive and professional attitude matters here, as do strong relationships with patients and coworkers. If you want room to grow professionally, have ideas and want to work somewhere that will listen to them, and would rather be part of a growing organization than simply fill a position, this role was written with you in mind.
